FAQs

Frequently asked questions.

How long before I can paint new plaster?

Fresh multifinish needs to dry fully. Drying time depends on thickness, temperature and ventilation; typically several days. It should then receive a diluted mist coat before finish coats.

Can you plaster over artex?

Often yes, after preparation. Older textured coatings can contain asbestos, so they should be tested before any sanding or removal. We will advise on this at the survey.

Do you do single rooms and small repairs?

Yes. We take on single walls and rooms as well as whole-house and development work.

Is the site left clean?

Yes. Protection goes down first and the work area is cleared at the end of each day.
